Well the sun was blazing again today is good ole Ohio, took all three little
ones to a local park with 3 small ponds in it. took 1 rod for me and 4 for
them,(One always get's tangled beyond shoreline repair). they insisted on
some nightcrawlers so we stopped and got a few. i baited them all up and
sure enough they were all into fish right away. seems there was a big
population of bluegills feeding like pigs. They each caught and released
about 20 a piece. As i went from one child to the next putting on pieces of
worms, i was wondering if I was ever going to get a cast in, but it didn't
seem like it would happen, so i bobbered up and downsized my hook and put a
little piece of worm on. My worm cauht about 6 or 7 bluegills and got
smaller by the second. the kids had a blast, we had some bobber races, when
my bobber took off under the water, I pulled back just to see this nice 3+
bass jump and spit the hook, Oh well wasn't expecting that, but i'll be back
in the a.m solo.. a great day out with the future generation of fishing,
i'll post some pictures later on a.b.p.f
