I bought a couple of those frogs and you can throw them far and I get
lots of hits on them but my hook up ratio has been bad. Mine don't
seem to compress as good as they should to expose the hooks during the
hookset. I've gone to some of the bass forums and some people love
them but lot's have the same issue that I have and it seems to be the
frogs. I have had much better luck with the swimming toad type lures
like the horny toad. I just bought some river2sea frogs and am going
to see if they work any better. My opinion is the Spiro frogs are not
worth the money they charge for them.
