Drop shot sinker
FWIW. Over the past years drop shotting has become about the only way I now
fish. Several years ago I started using this homemade rig which consists of
a swivel with a piece of soft copper wire attached. The swivel is attached
to the end of the line below the hook. You can insert the end of the wire
through any type sinker that has a hole . Bend the wire up and you are ready
to cast. The big advantage for me is the ease of changing sinker weights,
especially after dark. If you hang the sinker, the sinker will usually
straighten the wire and fall off.
