Interesting read indeed.
When we were on an Alaskan River this past July, we noticed a few leopard
rainbows that were pretty beat-up from catch and release. I'm sure it
must
have somewhat of an effect on them.

Really? I have never seen a scarred fish in Alaska or Labrador.
Doesn't mean they aren't there, I just have never seen or heard of
any.

Sad to see fish in that condition in Alaska. We were on the same river last
year and the rainbows we caught were all firm and healthy. This year was the
first time we saw signs of catch and release. Alaska F&G were on the river
the same time as us, they mentioned a serge of powerboats coming up this
year that have an impact on fish behavior, in which they agreed.
