Default Labrador

Ken, the following is from fishing board and answers a question I
asked about guides in Labrador.

" The law states that in Labrador, north of the 52nd parallel, a
person must have a guide to fish more than 1/2 mile from a numbered
highway. Although, I believe, as Whitehorsebasin mentioned, there is
somewhat of an unwritten, don't-ask-don't-tell policy in place that
allows canoeists and campers to get away with some incidental fishing
while in the bush in both Labrador and Quebec - a quick look at "canoe
trips in Quebec", for instance, will be full of accounts of fishing
during canoe trips through Indian land, without a guide, and no one
seems to be too worried about it."

So, I believe you can do it without too much trouble. Whaddaya think?
