I find myself in Lewisburg, Pennsylavia, where some people are trying
to convince my wife to move (hopefully with me and the kids)

Looking through some local realtor materials, I find a thin blue line
called Penn's Creek. Is this the hallowed Penn's Creek that I read so
many posts from year's gone by?

Remind me who is the bard of Penn's Creek, who organized the claves,
and whether they still go on.

Am I in a good enough area of trout fishing that I should be
discouraged from ever returning here again?

I am but a prodigal poster.

Didn't you just move a year or so ago?

Tom Littleton and Handyman Mike are the Penns gurus, that I know of, there
are certainly others, I suppose?

Good memory Op.

About a year and a half ago we moved to Downeast Maine, the last
county in the United States to be more precise. It's extremely rural
and wild, and I love it. My wife's job is not working out so good
(that is to say the job was not what was represented), so we need to
consider relocation, probably next summer. The goal is to take a few
baby steps back into civilization, without falling into suburban hell.

This month we are doing a whirlwind tour of jobs in Pennsylvania,
Eastern Oregon and Central New York. Access to flyfishing is a
definite requirement.
