That looks suspiciously like what is basically a VERY overpriced
pirogue. FWIW, you can buy pirogue kits and build one in a day or two
for under $200USD or buy one "off the shelf" for $400.00 or less. I did
notice that the Native Watercraft was offered in recyclable
materials...hell, pirogues have been recycled for years: when you're
tired of patching them, they become crawfish boil platters and when they
become to fragile for that, they become planters....
I had never heard of a pirogue. Kind of cool. Might be a fun winter project.
