Hi,
Not much to do this afternoon,
Sounds to me like you have to much time of your hands. I have to much
work
and no time.
Grab your tool belt, I'll let you know where to show up tomorrow morning
and
I pay well. $12 an hour until you prove yourself and I buy lunch (my
choice). Maybe after a few days you will feel good about having an Orvis
gift certificate and not Walmart.
$12/hr is supposed to be good? I make $25 - $60.
Well, I work up a quote for a project making sure I have covered my bases
(ass). Then to be safe, I double my quote and then mark it all up 25%. I
smile when my customer says OK and then I get that blank-stair look when
they say they thought it would have been considerably more $$. After it
takes me twice as long to complete the job, fix up all the screw ups of
the subs and hired help and end up making less than 10% minus my labor, I
wonder if I should ever hire anyone at any price. And then I do it all
over again.
One hesitates to wonder whether, if you were competent and thus paid enough
to attract competent help, some of your problems might mysteriously
disappear.
I guess you are a plumber?
No, duh! I mean who else in this world could possibly make such fantastic
money?
Wolfgang
who can't help but wonder just what a blank stair might look like.......but
has a pretty good idea of where to search for the answer.
