I fish a lot of smallmouth bass streams. A wooly bugger is one of my primary
flies. Tied with or without bead heads or cones heads...in different colors
from purple to pearl with and without flashabou...tied in colors to imitate
sculpins and crawfish...although not one of my favorite trout flies, I've
caught a goodly portion of my trout and steelhead on wooly buggers...
