If you are in favor of enforcing the Assault Weapons Ban, a law we
already have, you agree with salient point #1.

Define "assault weapons". I might agree with the ban depending on the
definition. FWIW, when MA passed the latest and greatest gun law back in 1998,
my ancient Marlin .22 semi auto, and my venerable Winchester 94 were
technically classified as assault weapons.
