Basic Trout Fishing Tactics

For those of you who are new to trout fishing I figured I'd write an
article on some basic trout fishing tactics.

Thank you for the excellent article. Trout season here in Oklahoma
started November 1. Some spring fed lakes are stocked by the Wildlife
Department. My brother and I went out last weekend and caught out limit.
It was a lot of fun. I would agree with your article in all but one
respect. We have never tried worms for bait. We use Berkley Power Bait.
We hear that great results are archived with worms in Colorado.

Freeze warning tonight. It's too cold to fish for bass. The trout
fishing will get better as it gets colder. There is nothing like
catching rainbow trout on a lake during a snow shower. When we tell
other fishermen who don't fish for trout about this they think we just
make this stuff up.

Two fishing seasons are twice as good as one.
