So I offer the technique here for all roffians. It could come in very
handy, and possibly save a trip. Anybody who fishes for long enough is
bound to have a similar thing happen to him.


After that happened to me, I bought a small pair of wire cutters that I
keep
in my vest. When needed I push the hook all the way through, cut off the
barb, and back out the wire. Make sure your tetanus shots are up-to date!
