So, what is the deal with regards to this and 'flying'? It seems that
they can force some forward momentum while they are still falling like
a rock. What is the glide ratio? (assuming that's the right term,
honestly...just curious and I don't know much about this). That is,
they could follow a sloping down-hill and maintain the same high above
terrain with a hill of (how many) degrees? Cool, tremendously ballsy,
stuff.

OBROFF: Bought son-in-law a TFO rod last year for Xmas, seems like a
very good rod for the money, though he says it's a little too fast. It
was a 9' for 5WT, not sure of the model.
