Just wondering what the take of the group is on the quality of spinning
reels made by Pfleuger ? Looking at the mid sized reels. Any comments or
thoughts . . . thanks in advance.
I have a BUNCH of Pfleuger spinning reels... sitting on the junk shelf.
I'ld go with a Shimano Sahara, Symetre, Stradic (or better) or a Daiwa SS
Whisker Tournament reel. I actually prefer the Daiwa, but some people do
not like the location of the physical roller stop. They do hold up well for
me which is more than I can say for the Pfleugers I have. They also have
really good geometry for casting light baits. I've got several 1600s and a
few 1300s.
