Are there Pirnahas in our lakes?

no; all of our indigenous pirnahas (pr: "peer-nah'-hahs") were made
extinct by the introduction, in the late 19th century, by alfred vanderbilt,
of their only natural predator: the bright orange goldfish.
if i were you, i would suggest that you be more concerned with the
existence of bats in your belfry.

A big ol mean piranha was made extinct by a tiny little innocent
goldfish?

In the city of santa barbara a piranha was found in one of the city's
lakes. Apparently someone thought it would be a funny joke.
