I didn't ask for the book, Dave. As far as my travels, the only place I've
been that was expensive was Christmas Island (and it wasn't all that
expensive for an exotic locale).

I wouldn't dream of dropping thousands of dollars at an Orvis lodge in
Alaska, even if the guides do wipe your ass and tie on your flies. And
Kamchatka? Forget about it.

Rumor has it that bus fare to the Seychelles may soon rise to a buck or
more.
