Yes, but rather inpromptu. I had absolutely no intention of doing it.
Some
kayak friends of mine ran it while I waited in the eddy above for them
to
come back so we could derig. They told all the spectators (about 50 of
them)
along the walk back that I was getting psyched to try it, so by the time
they got to me, there were cars pulled over, cameras out...it was hard
to
back down by that point.
