The chemo I was on wasn't working, it kept the kidneys from
getting worse but it wasn't making them any better, so I
decided to spend January at the Mayo Clinic getting Rituximab
infusions every week as part of a clinical trial. After taking
all the preliminary tests the Mayo nephrologist informed me
that I was going into remission all on my own !!

That's great news Ken!

I'm not in total remission yet but I'm heading that way at a
rapid pace. This ****ty disease is disappearing as mysteriously
as it appeared 21 months ago. I'm still trying to wrap my head
around this fantastic paradigm shift.

Hope things continue in this direction.

OBROFF: I wet a line in SE Minnesota's Beaver Creek for awhile
Sunday afternoon. The catching was slow but the fishing was great.

To wet a line right now, wow that would be nice... Cabin fever has set in
big time.
I'm hoping to hit the Green late Feb. for some midge and streamer fishing to
break up the winter blues.

Take care,
JT
