jeff (who hasn't yet acquired the materials to begin tying a sal****er fly
of some type... wayno, where do you keep your vise?)

Joe the elder suggests---sounds as if you should call Blue Ribbon
Flies--included in their new fly offerings is the Jimmy Cricket----worked
magic on Soda Butte, Slough Creek, Madison, Gallatin,Nez Perce and smaller
creeks !!!

they will ship you Zap
gel for Jimmy Cricket--a Jimmy Cricket Ant Cutter-Jimmy cricket Legs--Loco
Oil Slick Foam-[has a brilliant swirled pearlescent metallic backside
especially forJiminy Cricket}-----and they sell vises

I would like to have a dozen

though i appreciate the suggestion...it is a mere 14 hooks with stuff
wrapped about. i've beseeched the assistance of our friend from the
piedmont and feel certain he'll provide a finer provenance than any blue
ribbon jimmy cricket purveyor. hell, he probably had twenty or thirty
tied before any of these pretenders typed their hurried notes of
flymaking. no need to seek assistance from the far west.
