Default Yellowstone fishing/camping

Hey guys,
Planning our drive cross country and need to start reservations. Just
wondering if anyone can suggest the best campground in Yellowstone for
fishing access. I'm thinking the Madison campground, but that's just a
guess because I know it's close to the Madison. Is there a better
campground someone knows about in the park with make your coffee, poop,
and fish availablity? Thanks for any suggestions.

I visit every year and don't stay at a campground IN the Park ... they are
tightly packed, and a minimum of 14 miles from nearest store, if you want
something. I stay at Baker's Hole ... 5 miles N of West Yellowstone and
( mostly ) enjoy the daily ride to fishing water, in the Park plus much of
"Yellowstone" fishing is out of the Park but near it.

Whoa Larry ... give it some more thought! When ? time of year will you
be there? Past late June for 'in the Park fishing,' you will want to be
fishing other than the Madison and Firehole and may well want to camp in the
Park.
