What kind of tax break does the guy who has run the fly shop across the
street for 30 years get? He'll have to compete with his son for a
minimum-wage job at Walmart after Cabelas drives him out of business.

BTW, it's an ironic fact that George W. Bush made his money due to a tax
increase. He and his backers (Bush was only the political front man)
arranged for a special election to raise the sales tax to finance a new
stadium for the Texas Rangers. The county used eminent domain to buy
private land at below-market prices, built the stadium, and then sold it
to Bush and his buddies for much less than it was worth.


So true and now he wants to keep permanent the tax cuts that give most
to the people who make over $1million. Of course they pay more taxes at
that bracket, they make more. But look at the percentage of their pay
to taxes and you'll see they keep far more than the average american.
