jim and i went to cambell creek today. beautiful day...temps in 60s by
mid day. caught trout - largest 21 inches - flounder, a gar, and...a
damned shad. i've never heard of a shad being caught in campbell creek.
we're about a month away from the runs on the tar, neuse and roanoke.
