Default Question for a fly_gal

If you really want a fly for steel in the great lakes area, go with Dave
Whitlock's Near-Nuff sculpin patter. Google it.....Swings beautifully
and I've yet to see the limits on what that fly catches....

I have a good friend out on Seneca lake and he picks up steel, bows,
lakers, browns, carp and salmon on that fly. He plans to add to that
list this season.....I do believe it to be one of the deadliest of
streamer flys.

For the hot season I wrap the head in orange or red....I tend to go for
the olive, tan or brown bodies.
