My brand new Element took a hit today from a rock. I gotta replace the
windshield--paying outta pocket, insurance deductible and all that ya know.
Money seems to be a bit tighter than before. Classes as well are keepin' me
busy.

Hell, I'm even thinkin' of applyin' to a doctoral program, once I finish
this program. Not likely I'll get accepted, but a man has gotta go for the
gusto, I guess?

Mr. Makela, it will be a shame, and damned near not right somehow if you
miss the annual Penn's Fest. Heck, you've been attending before the word
Clave was even uttered. Heck, we've been spending late May in Penn's
Valley since we were both up to 6 16-hour fishing days in a row before we
collapsed!! I know, I know, you are a slave to Quest's bidding and all,
but have some perspective, man! This is Penn's, for gawdsake!
