Default Anyone familiar with northern Champlain?

Alright Rich, I will heed your advice and take the boat. I will also pick
up some musky baits. Do I need a license for the Quebec side? Anything
else I need to know?

Harry, thanks, I'll try to get hold of Warren.

My wife wants to book a trip to a resort in Highgate Springs VT on the
northern tip of Champlain for the first full week of July. They have a
marina and I may be able to bring my boat, but I don't know if I should
bother. They provide rowboats and offer guided trips (for an additional
cost of course) and it's quite a haul from central Jersey with the boat.
But, if I hear that the fishing is outstanding and that I should totally
bring my Ranger up, I probably will. Just looking for any info, Rich Z?

Highgate Springs is in Missisquoi Bay. Missisquoi has some great fishing,
but most of it is in Quebec. I would take the boat. You're in a great area
of the lake. The Missisquoi River is home to the remaining musky
population in the lake, and has some outstanding LMB fishing as well.

Missisquoi Bay has great LMB AND SMB fishing.

Take your boat. going to Champlain without your boat = not a good idea.
