You'd have to be a cold-hearted fisherman to begrudge an osprey its prey.

I was once on a pack trip in the Bob Marshall Wilderness when, while
fishing, we saw a family of otters. Our "guide" was incensed -- they
would steal "her" fish. Sick. It was one of the most memorable things
about the trip, and it sure beat the fishing.
