I just got a 5x8x7 fish house for real cheap that I'd like to take ice
fishing with my friends. It's basically a big box made of plywood and
I figure it weighs about 700 lbs. How do I get this thing onto my
trailer? My trailer has a ramp. Someone suggested using a winch
mounted to the trailer - will that work and what kind of winch should
I get? I wonder, how do other guys get their fish houses on their
trailers? Thanks in advance for your responses.

I have one of these. No ice fishing here, but it's a great tool...

How to get it onto the trailer - this depends a LOT on how the house
is constructed. Does it have a solidly "framed" floor? If not, you
should consider some cross-bracing across the bottom to make sure that
the walls do not "tweak" when attempting to move it. You can also
make the winching process go much easier by using pipes or poles
underneath to help it roll along. Make sure that you pull from at
least 2 points on the house to help reduce the stress.
