Are you serious?! First things first - I don't care what anyone else
responds, I'm dead serious, I mean exactly what I ask and I'm honestly
asking:
"Gone fishing" is, for me, a loose way to describe a lifestyle. It is
built around time enjoying natural things and places I love, the fishing is
just an excuse, really.
I have only average interest in "fishing" but I have a deep passion for
"gone fishing."
BUT,
... for your math calculations,
I now spend some time each of 100 to 150 days each year trying to
catch fish with fly tackle. I've done this for about the last 6 years
since I semi-retired. No, I don't fish dawn to dusk, ... that is for
the once a year ...on vacation .... guys.
I've fly fished, exclusively, since 1971 and probably well more than
'average' that whole 35+ years, since I've traveled and camped near trout
streams much of that time, even though I was "on business."
( I first discovered and fished Silver Creek, Flat Creek, Fall River, the
Williamson, the Rogue, and many others while "on business" )
I'm trying to increase the number of days/ year I'm "gone fishing" via an
annual patagonia trip ... guess I'm not bored :-)
I'm still waiting to, totally, "get beyond wind knots" ....
good luck G
- I'd be a pro who could do it in my sleep
"totally" ... it's there in the middle of my sentence where you can just
skip by it G
Find me a fly fisher that is "totally" beyond wind knots, I'd like to meet
him/her
... I've met a lot and I ain't met that one yet.
Oh,
And,
Ah,
Your average post would seem to confirm that "doing it in your sleep" thing
you mention :-)
