IME, most of the big name, big bug, big crowd drawing, hatches are overrated
... unless social event is the main reason to go fishing ( *not that there's
anything wrong with that ;-)

One advantage of the salmonfly hatch on the Madison is finding a bunch
of guys from Maryland, one of which was an excellent home brewer.
Ended up taking an extended nap in my car because of him.
