Slide Inn and West Yellowstone

Thanks Guys
I will take your comments re safety and various holes and spots and other
comments into account.
I greatly appreciate your advice
I can't wait to go
I did not want to be there Memorial Day weekend
Re pricing
It does seem pricey but I am taking my wife and she enjoys it more w comfort
- altho she will camp
What we do is 2-3 days of camping followed by 2-3 days of hotel and clean
up.
A trip to Rock Creek to warm up my casting arm comes first - either this
weekend or the one after - but certainly before Memorial Day

While the Slide is comfortable and much more civilized than spit-bath
camping, I trust your wife will not expect Holiday Inn rooms or
bathrooms. I've never stayed in the larger units with the covered
porches over on the left side as you enter, always stayed in rooms in
the building on the right as you enter. They are rustic but very
comfortable. However, my wife had a sudden urge to see Cody, Wyoming
and the AmericasINN suite with a jacuzi after one night at the Slide
because a mouse found its way into the room. It was also uncommonly hot
last year in July, and the rooms can get a bit stuffy.
The Howling Mad Moon down the road has better rooms but doesn't have the
river access or Galloup's shop that makes the Slide so unique.
Look forward to your report though.
