If you've never fished the Green, and were going to for a couple of
days (and might never again in your life), would a drift-boat w/ guide
be worth it? Any recommendations?

I didn't use their guide services, however the shop is pretty nice and the
guys were very helpful.

It would probably be worth your time to do a 1/2 day float and then do
your own thing the next couple days. Don't know if you have a boat or not,
but the shuttles are spendy. There is wade access.

We stayed at this place, it's nice enough and they have a restaurant for
breakfast, lunch and dinner. We would have camped but it was middle of
winter this last trip. Froze our butts off!

I see they have a guide trip special with 1/2 priced room. They also have
a decent flyshop..

Thinking of towing the boat back to Utah and Flaming Gorge. How deep is the
Green and are powerboats allowed. Is a river jet boat. Is this below the
dam? Also looking for a recommendation for a nice campground with shade.
Truck camper does not have A/C.
