My arms are flailing wildly!
Okay, got this stinking brace on my arm. Makes it difficult to do
simple things. Went into a restaurant last night and as I opened the
door, my protruding thumb got caught in the door handle and about
ripped it off.
Even better, the wiff sent me to the local garden supply to pick up
some compost and perlite. Had to reach into the back of the station
wagon to move my PA DeLorme and push things aside to fill the back of
the car. Used my right fore arm to support me as I reached with my
left. The velcro running the length of the back of the brace stuck to
the carpeting in the station wagon. My left arm is still not 100%
after the shoulder injury and wouldn't support me. I ended up stuck,
half in/half out of the car, trying to flip my legs like a sea lion
moving on the beach. flat on my back. To top it off, I got some
pimply-faced youth (PFY) from the garden store standing there with a 4
cu ft bag of perlite asking "sir, are you all right?" NO, I'M NOT
FRIGGEN ALL RIGHT. UNHOOK MY GOD DAMN ARM!
OBROFF:
Anyone ever fished with an arm brace? I've got a couple of trips
coming up and wondered if its possible or should I just give up the
trips?
