By god, you're right! I attribute that to language difficulties. In Latvia,
they didn't have lemons, but the limes were huge, had thick yellowish green
skin with rough bumps, and looked all the world like unripe lemons. Worse
yet, they were called 'limons', so I used to get all confused about whether
they were lemons or limes. The flavor seemed to land right in the middle.

Here, its even worse. They call both of them 'citron', so you have to know
what you are getting. 'Limon' means 'slime'...
