Yup - and your Republican Congress did exactly that with "The Bush Tax Cuts" -
which were directed at the very top financial stratum of society, while those
in the other 95% were invited to pound sand and carry more weight.

Hopefully this relief stimulates the economy to help offset the reduction in taxes.

But instead of controlling or trying to reduce spending, congress
increases spending and increases the deficit.

And that was your Republican Congress as well...
