Cities have been known to do all sorts of things to attract
conventions. I'll bet the genius who came up with the tax-free
gas idea was a Denver Republican. Hey, conventions are good for
bidness. The **** hit the fan, the DNC pays up. So what.

If you hadn't already claimed to have no rooting interest in
the 2008 presidential election I'd swear you were getting so
desperate as to grasp at strawmens. ;-)
