Perhaps a more NW focused venue would be helpful to you. One really
wonderful resource for the Portland, OR area is the Oregon bb at:

Pick a state (e.g. Oregon, eh?) to enter and then click on "forums" up
near the top. One can read forums without registering. Excellent site,
exellent people, highly recommended.
