Nice...one of the things I miss most in my travels is being in Maine
for the colors, especially the maples and the poison Ivy (which turns
a shocking red and makes it easy to remember where not to walk in the
summer).

The colours here are quite vivid right now.
Perhaps you remember Rainer Volkmann from when you were here? *He got
this nice sea-trout ( Sea-run brown) from a small local stream on
Monday lunchtime, (one of the same streams you fished);

He got all the fish on the special double handed Sea-trout we
designed, ( Itīs in one of the pictures).

DAMN those are some seriously nice fish! The local water you are
talking about....is that the pool under a copse of overhanging trees
in a field we hiked into one night? Thats one huge fish for such a
small pool...I remember you telling me that there were monsters in
there, but I had something in the 30-35 cm range in mind. We fished it
at night...maybe daytime was a better time?
