I just wonder why he is using win98.

This is out of support as well as w2k is also.

Currently suported win versions are XP and Vista

I "thought' booting with F8 held down would get to the menu that would
allow him to select Safe/ DOS/ Normal but that didn't seem to work


How do I help him get it booting into Windows again? Not sure if his
shop depends on it, or not, but let's pretend it does .... other angler's
