POO GOO is really GOO ... can't recommend it for anything

POO GOO is my favorite dry fly dressing. Works better than any silicone
based dressing I've ever used. It seems to need to be reapplied less
often than other products. It is useless in winter. It's too thick to
get out of the bottle unless you keep it in a pocket where it can get
some body heat.

YMMVOC,

Russell

To be honest, I didn't give it too fair of a test ... just didn't like the
consistency, I guess and very quickly changed to something else

I'm a convert to Dry Magic - Frog's Fanny, or Hydrophobe (sp) ... depending
on fly .... CDC lightly treated with DM then FF floats like a cork

If I didn't toss my POO and can find it, I'll try dressing my RIO line with
it, ala RIO advice ... and maybe a fly or two, ala Russell advice

It certainly thicker than other bottled dressings that I have used. I
have found it best to use just barely enough to rub it well into the
fly. Don't over do it.

I hadn't even thought of using it as a line dressing. I'll have to try
that myself.
