Don't forget the Bush tax cuts sunset in the near future. Tax rates
for the most part will reset to the Clinton era rates. Never mind that
the congress that enacted them only gave them 10 years, if they don't
get extended or made permanent, the opposition party that put in the
expiration date is going to run with it.
