Now Mr. Bowen,

Surely you can rephrase your subject line to be
just a little more complimentary towards your
manners on the stream and your guidance? After
all, I can attest to those facts . . .

Well, if truth be told, I did let him have the
best pools and enjoyed watchin' him catch trout
much more than catchin' trout myself.

Now if you wish me to call Mr. Larry I will
gladly do so, and berate him soundly...just tell
me to do so after one or several beers!

I'd hate to think what he would do to me if I
actually did give out his personal cell #. I know
it would not be very pleasant :~^ (

...and I know it ain't much, but I've got an 8
1/2 foot, five weight, two piece, Penns, Gold
Medal fly rod I will toss into the mix. Not like
some of the rods you fellows fish but undeniably
one of the most underpriced rods on the market
in it's time. Sorry, but I don't have a reel to
offer....

Thanks, but I got plenty of lending gear 'til he
really gets hooked, I just gotta get him some size
12 wadin' boots, as my spare 11s wore a blister on
his heel, 'cause he couldn't get in them with the
neoprene socks.

I'd come down for the guide trip but the buddy
from Germany does not fly fish - I guess he
couldn't pass the test.

Yeah, I've had that problem with a few drug tests?

I was thinking along the lines of fiddle contest
and greased pig things or maybe a cornhusker
event to show my pal the 'real' America.'

If you can get tickets and get down here April
23-26, this is one of the biggest local events
fiddlin' wise.

Thanks for the offers of assistance, John.
Honestly, I was just jokin' about apparel and
stuff. He'll get hooked or he will miss out big
time!
