But a friend wants to get his youngster involved in fishing.
Seems what would be critical here is that the kid catch something,
somehow.

I suggested that they try Area 3, the Ponds, with some live bait.
Always possible to catch a few Bass on flies, or live bait there.

Hence, the inquiry if there are any places they can pick up some worms
near Gate 3.

A few years down the road, we can try to get the youngster into
flyfishing.

Okay...although I think a pond over loaded with bluegill is a better place
to start, try this.

Water a large area of your lawn very well all afternoon. That night, grab a
couple of flashlights and go out and hunt the nightcrawlers...he'll get a
kick out of how you have to actually walk quiet and sneak up on them. It'll
be quite fun for him...
