WASHINGTON, D.C. (Rueters) --
Congress is in sheer panic today after
learning at least 14 congressmen
and/or women were eaten alive in
a vicious piranha attack in the new
$12.5 million swimming pool on the Hill.
Pieces of the bodies -- only bones,
no meat -- were being removed from
the ruby-red water where many
legislators take a dip with their
coffee before the start of their
legislative day.

"Right now we can't say very
much," said a D.C. police lieutenant
who requested anonymity. "But,
from what we've gathered, all
ironically had been designated as
"Worst Persons in the World" on
"Countdown with Keith Olbermann"
in recent weeks.
A White House page, the only
witness to the feeding frenzy, told
Fox News that he was absolutely
amazed at how fast the piranha
ate the poor legislators.
"It looked lke the llittle *******s
probably hadn't eaten for a week,"
he told Bill O'Reilly.
Police and Secret Service have
at least one terrorist in mind as the
possible perpetrator and will interview
"a certain person" at the NBC
studios in New York later today.
