Thanks, JR. With the superclean water and the razor sharp point on the
fly, I'm happy to report that the only long-lasting effect seems to be
a bone bruise, with no infection evident. And Roger went back to the
stream and swam around this morning, and found his shooting head and
running line....and a fly with a straightened hook. And no sign of
food poisoning. It looks like things are getting better already. Day
after tomorrow, we head up to a remote mountain lake to fish for giant
browns and char.
