We have this lake here in S/W Michigan that has lots of 3-4 lb bass,
most of the fish I catch are the 2-2 1/2 lbers. he only way I can catch
these fish are on docks close to deep water on senko's and tubes, what
other bait do you guys think might catch the bigger fish? or am I
wasting my time on the docks.

My best dock bait is a 1/8 oz craw/jig in brown/pumpkin seed. Cast as
far under as you can and let it sit, be patient. Even get it up
onshore and wiggle it into the water if you can. Slowly hop it to the
end of the pier if nothing takes it. I never tried magnum sizes when
dock fishing, but it should work. I also use a red shad or tequila
sunrise power worm with good luck. Senko's and the copies are also a
good bait to "skip" to the back of docks.
In WI the best docks had deeper water and weed growth close by also.
