Just curious, the nitwit gal blathering about Nazis in the
video, is she somebody you know ?
I didn't watch the video - I avoid listening to
BF-the-condescending-asshole at all costs. Just remember, he's much
smarter than you and anyone you know. Just ask him. ...
You're probably right. Barney Frank is smarter than me and
most anyone I know. Is there something wrong with that ?
Trust me, there's *absolutely* nothing wrong with that.

He stays in office because he has a "D" next to his name and
he's in Massachusetts; he has no redeeming value.
Smart people have no redeeming value and should not serve in
public office ?
Wow - that's quite a leep. Barney Frank is smarter than *everyone*, in
his
mind. A man that won't listen to anyone else because they are beneath
him
is
a dangerous man to have in power, especially when the sheep keep
putting
him
there. That's what you've got in Barney Frank.
Barney Frank is dangerous ? I like the idea of smart people
dismissing the fools as, well ..., fools. I don't think that's
dangerous at all, in fact it's a downright goddamn refreshing
thing to see in a politician. I'd much rather have a smart man
in office who is dismissive of fools than some mealy-mouthed
dumbass who panders to every idiot on the block.

Barney Frank dismisses anyone who disagrees with him (and even many who
do)
as a fool. That doesn't mean there aren't some fools in the bunch, but
not
everyone qualifies.

I'm not putting forth that Mr. Frank is not smart - he is. He's also an
arrogant son-of-a-bitch who *knows* he's got a keener view of the truth
than
everyone else - regardless of the facts. I mean, saying something like
"These two entities - Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac - are not facing any
kind
of financial crisis. The more people exaggerate these problems, the more
pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of
affordable housing" doesn't seem like something that makes him
wizard-smart
in hindsight, does it? I'd say, as Financial Services Committee Chairman,
it
even makes him dangerous.

Even though the vast majority of the financial experts in the world
were caught by surprise by the worldwide financial meltdown of 2008
you've decided it's Barney Frank who's dangerous ? That's an interesting
perspective.

The "vast majority" aren't in a position of oversight and regulation so,
yeah, that makes him more dangerous. Not more wrong, just more dangerous.

I like the guy . . .

He doesn't like you - he despises you.

. . . and I laughed out loud when he told the nitwit that
arguing with her would be like arguing with the dining room table.

But you somehow seem to have the ability to read the man's mind and
know what he's thinking about everyone else. That is a real talent and
I would never argue with a man who has that particular talent.

I don't have to be a mind reader to know what Barney Frank is thinking; he
says it for all to hear and his actions speak loudly. Again, I didn't watch
the video and don't intend to watch. You and Barney can have each other -
you're quite the deserving pair, almost soul brothers.
