There are a number of "designer" fishes out there now. "Designer"
Atlantic Salmon have been submitted to the FDA for approval. The company
that developed them has standing orders for The Atlantic Salmon have
gotten most of the press but there are over 35 different "species" being
developed. There are engineered carp and tipalia that have been
developed and are in production in China and Cuba.
