I've always liked loops, but I just use tying thread to whip a loop on
my lines. I had a 13' sink tip line that I cut 1/2 the sink tip off
of, looped both ends. I carry it in my vest, and loop it on a floating
line when I want a sink tip in a pinch. Yeah it ends up a bit heavy
but it beats switching lines...
