Given that same challenge last May, I did.


Interesting enough, a study at the University of Montana in
biomechanics found that only 12 to 20 percent of your casting stroke
acuracy and distance comes from the rod. The rest is form and, for a
very minor part, streghth. Its a study that most rod manufacturers
don't want out for obvious reasons.
