This is an LA Times rtecent update on J, K, and L Pods, the so-called
"Southern Resident pods of killer whales. They do get down to NorCal
coast some.

I've lived there for 31 years and never heard of Orcas, but if anyone can

We get orcas lots of times. The orcas we get are not resident and follow
the grey whales and prey on the babies.
